A Relationship with Practice
Yiyang Practice
Body | Dream | Understanding
Through body, breath, dream and awareness, practice becomes a way of seeing more clearly.
My Approach
I believe that the body, breath, dreams, and awareness are not separate experiences, but different expressions of the same life. The same patterns reveal themselves through movement and stillness, waking and dreaming, the visible and the unseen.
Rather than seeking answers outside ourselves, practice becomes a way of observing these relationships directly. Through Yoga, Taoist philosophy, and Buddhist contemplative traditions, my work invites a gradual shift in how we experience ourselves and the world—not by escaping reality, but by seeing it more clearly. I guide practice not towards becoming something new, but towards recognising the wholeness that is already present.

Reflections
Drawing on my background in human biology, yoga therapy, and Buddhist studies, these essays explore the meeting point of traditional wisdom and contemporary understanding. They are reflections on embodiment, dreams, perception, and contemplative practice—written to encourage thoughtful inquiry rather than provide fixed conclusions.
Practice Library
Understanding grows through practice. These guided sessions bring the same principles into everyday life through movement, breath, meditation, and rest. Whether supporting better sleep, easing physical discomfort, or simply finding a moment of stillness, the practices are designed to be accessible, practical, and rooted in real life.
